Emma Parrott, Soprano

Emma Parrott is a classically trained singer and voice instructor. She performs in choirs, musicals, operas, and as a concert soloist, as well as serving as choral section leader and theater musical director in various ensembles.

Emma Parrott’s recent performances

She sang the role of Dido in Henry Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas (2025, San Diego) with the UCSD Vocal Masterclass and the role of Rapunzel in Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods (2023, San Diego) with UCSD’s Muir Musical. Other credits include ensemble roles in Pippin (2025, Coronado Playhouse, San Diego), Something Rotten! (2024, UCSD Muir Musical, San Diego), and chorus roles in Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites with the Festival of International Opera Italia (2024, Urbani, Italy).

Emma Parrott’s education

Emma earned a degree in Vocal Performance with Honors from UC San Diego. She studied vocal performance with Susan Narucki, Distinguished Professor of Music at UC San Diego and Grammy-winning recording artist.
